On November 10, 1962, the Kalamazoo College football team won 33-21 at Olivet to secure the MIAA championship and an undefeated conference season with a 5-0 league record.
The Hornets went on to defeat Augustana the following week to complete Kalamazoo's most recent undefeated season with an 8-0 record.
Coached by Rolla Anderson, the 1962 Hornets outscored their opponents 219-81 on the season.
