Holden Price was introduced as Kalamazoo College’s Director of Golf on August 4, 2023. As Director of Golf, Price will coach and oversee the Hornet men’s and women’s golf programs.
Price comes to Kalamazoo College with a variety of coaching and administrative experience. Most recently, Price was the golf operations manager at Crystal Mountain Resort in Northern Michigan, overseeing all golf operations, services and programming.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Kalamazoo College family and working with a great group of athletes, coaches and staff,” Price said. “This is an opportunity to grow the game and continue to grow the culture of a successful program. Golfers looking at K will have an opportunity to join a culture that is strong academically and a team that has a strong winning culture as well.”
Previously, Price was head golf professional at X-Golf in Traverse City, Mich., assistant golf professional at Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club in Arcadia, Mich., program assistant at The First Tee Greater Wilmington, N.C. and assistant golf professional at Pine Hills Golf Club in Laingsburg, Mich.
“We are excited to introduce Holden Price as our Director of Golf,” said Becky Hall, Director of Athletics. “His passion, knowledge and ability to build connections will serve him well in this role. He will make a great addition to our team, campus community and the greater Kalamazoo community.”
A native of Dansville, Mich., Price earned a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University in 2016.
Price is scheduled to begin on campus on August 15.
