OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 75-58 at Olivet College on Wednesday.
Kalamazoo trailed by just two (27-25) with 2:50 left in the first half, but went into the break trailing by eight (34-26).
Kalamazoo shot 43.2 percent overall compared to 42.9 percent for Olivet, but the Comets made more 3-pointers and outrebounded Kalamazoo 13-5 on the offensive end.
Jimmy Paprocki led Kalamazoo with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting with three free throws.
Tanner Blyly added 11 points while Jack Smith finished with 10. Ben Reiter led the team with seven rebounds.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Albion on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m.
