SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team fell on the road Wednesday evening in a 95-71 loss at Spring Arbor.
Spring Arbor, who is ranked No. 15 in NAIA Division II and is the defending National Champions, scored the first bucket of the game just under one minute in and never looked back.
The Cougars led for all 40 minutes of the game as the Hornets cut it to as little at 14 in the second half but were unable to come back any further.
The Hornets shot 24-55 from the field and made nine of their 28 attempted three-pointers.
Tanner Blyly led the team on the offensive end with 14 points.
Jeremiah Vincent added 12 points on five-for-five shooting and Ben Reiter tallied nine points.
Kalamazoo returns to play on Tuesday, Dec. 17 when it travels to Earlham. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 1 p.m.
