KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced on Tuesday that Ben Reiter of the men's basketball team would be honored as the Hornet of the Week.
The senior began the week with a 32-point outing that included a school-record seven three-pointers on just nine attempts. He also added eight rebounds and three assists on the day. Over the weekend, Reiter tallied 13 more points while grabbing five rebounds and five assists.
Reiter eclipsed 900 career points during the week and now sits at 908 as he is averaging 14.6 points per game this season.
Reiter and the Hornets return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 22 when they host Hope at 7:30 p.m.
