DJ Courtney was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
Courtney was the game's leading scorer with 25 points in his second collegiate game, a 71-64 win over Manchester on Friday, Nov. 12. He was 10-13 overall, 4-7 from 3-point range, and 1-3 at the free throw line. He was second on the team with nine rebounds, while also being credited with two assists.
In three games last week, Courtney averaged 15.3 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 64.3 percent from the field.
The men's basketball team is back in action at home against this Saturday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. against Capital University.
