ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished second at the first MIAA Jamboree of the season hosted by Trine on Saturday.
Kalamazoo shot a school record and season best 288 to finish second, just four strokes out of first place.
Travis Veenhuis tied for second overall with a 70 while David Smith followed with a 71.
Phil Ritchie shot 73 while Nick Ludka came in at 74.
The Hornets return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 13 with an MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet.
