PORTAGE, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team took first place at the Steven Tyler Intercollegiate hosted by the Hornets at The Moors on Monday.
Kalamazoo shot 310 overall to win the event, finishing three strokes ahead of Trine and five ahead of Adrian.
Jackson Jones earned medalist honors with the lowest overall score of 71, one under par.
Parker Pickell was second overall with a 75.
Nick Ludka (80), Travis Veenhuis (84), and Matthew Holmes-Hackerd (89) rounded out the top five for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo is scheduled to play again this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, at the Shootout at Stonehedge in Augusta, Mich.
