JACKSON, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team is in fourth place following the first day of the Irish Hills Invitational hosted by Adrian at Grande Golf Club.
Kalamazoo shot 309 on Friday, two strokes out of third place and eight strokes behind the leader.
Jackson Jones shot a 71 to lead the field.
Parker Pickell tied for eighth with a 75. Zach Colburn came in at 80 while Mathew Holmes-Hackerd shot 83.
Saturday's final round is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
