KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jackson Jones of the Kalamazoo College men's golf team was honored by the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) as this week's Hornet of the Week.
Jackson began the week by carding a 74 at the season's first MIAA Jamboree hosted by Hope at Wuskowhan. Jones followed up this performance with rounds of 71 and 76 to tie for third place at the Irish Hills Invitational over the weekend.
Jones now carries a 73.6 overall average on the season as each of his rounds have come in at 76 or less.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Sept. 21 at the second MIAA Jamboree hosted by Alma at Pine River.
