KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jackson Jones of the Kalamazoo College men's golf team was recognized Tuesday as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Hornet of the Week.
Jackson began the week with a T2 finish on Monday by carding a 73 at Kalamazoo Country Club. He followed this with a fifth-place finish at the MIAA Fall Final with rounds of 74 and 73.
Jones and the Hornets finished third in the MIAA this season. He was named to the All-MIAA First Team as his 73.6 MIAA scoring average is the third-best in Kalamazoo history.
The Hornets are off now until the spring season begins as Jones and the rest of his team look to build off an impressive showing this fall.
