Men's Soccer Downs Olivet

OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team was victorious in its final game of the regular season Wednesday evening in a 3-1 defeat of Olivet. 

Nick Kraeuter got the Hornets on the board in the 29th minute as he found the back of the net for the second time this season. Aidan Hurley tallied the assist. 

After an Olivet goal in the 71st minute, Ben Meschke finished off the game with back-to-back goals in under four minutes to seal the game for Kalamazoo. Alex Wallace assisted Meschke on both goals. 

The Hornets outshot the Comets 14-7 in the match and held a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal. 

Freshman Sean Ellis improved to 5-1 on the season in goal as he made three saves while playing all 90 minutes. 

Kalamazoo now moves to the MIAA Tournament as it will host the sixth seed in the conference. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
