GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The 2020 MIAA Championships continued Thursday at Calvin.
Grant Stille posted the top finish for the Hornets on Thursday coming in second in the 50 Freestyle with a time of :20.77 behind the winning time of :20.44.
The 200 Free Relay team finished third with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:22.41 (Brenden French, Michael Orwin, Luke Durden, Grant Stille). Stille's :19.8 on the anchor leg is a time only two other Kalamazoo swimmers have done.
Sam Ankley came in fourth in the 1-meter Diving event with a score of 421.75.
The 400 Medley Relay also came in fourth with a time of 3:27.23 (Tyler Sakalys-Moore, Brenden French, Ben Keith, Grant Stille).
The championships continue through Saturday with swimming prelims each morning at 10 a.m. and finals in the evening at 5:30 p.m.
