Men's Swimming & Diving Fourth at MIAA Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team finished fourth at the 2020 MIAA Championships hosted by Calvin Wednesday through Saturday.

Kalamazoo accumulated 546.5 points, finishing ahead of Olivet (330) and Alma (187). The Hornets trailed Albion (933.5), Calvin (838), and Hope (693) in the final standings.

Sam Ankley finished third in the 3-meter Diving event Saturday with a score of 468.05, just 6.60 points out of first place.

Matt Howrey finished fourth in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 16:26.42.

The 400 Free Relay also finished fourth on Saturday with a time of 3:07.40 (Brenden French, Michael Orwin, Luke Durden, Grant Stille).

Kalamazoo's divers are scheduled to compete next weekend at the NCAA III Diving Regionals hosted by Denison.
