Sam Ankley was recognized with Honorable Mention Scholar All-American honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2019-20 season.
A freshman from Kalamazoo, Mich. (Kalamazoo Central HS), Ankley qualified by achieving a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and being invited to compete at a regional diving qualifier.
Ankley was named MIAA Diver of the Week five times this past season. He finished third in the 3-meter event at the MIAA Championships and earned All-MIAA honors.
