GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team was defeated 180-55 at Calvin University Friday evening.
Top finishes for the Hornets on Friday included Zach Butters, second place in the 200 IM (2:05.44) and Luke Middlebrook, second place in 3-meter diving (191.65).
Alden Ehrhardt finished third in the 100 Butterfly (56.76), Tyler Sakalys-Moore finished third in the 100 Backstroke, and the 200 Medley Relay also finished third with a time of 1:41.77 (Zach Butters, JJ Horsfield, Alden Ehrhardt, Tim Karubas).
The Hornets also won two events late in the meet, Tyler Sakalys-Moore in the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.90) and the 200 Free Relay in 1:31.98 (Tim Karubas, Ben Pickrel, Jackson Rysavy, JJ Horsfield).
The Hornets are back home Saturday morning as they take on Albion College beginning at 11 a.m.
