HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team won 9-0 at Hope College on Thursday.
Kalamazoo won all three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
Allen Vinson and Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado were first off the courts with an 8-3 win at three doubles. Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus followed with an 8-4 win at one doubles. Robert Hudson and Eric De Witt pulled out a 9-8(4) win at two doubles.
Metzler won 6-2, 6-0 at one singles followed by Spencer Navarre (6-2, 6-1) with a match-clinching win at six. Hudson won 7-5, 6-0 at two singles before Vinson fininshed off his opponent 6-3, 6-2 at five.
Dantus won 6-2, 6-1 at three singles while De Witt finished off the sweep 6-1, 7-6(4) at four.
Kalamazoo (11-3, 3-0 MIAA) is scheduled to play at Trine on Saturday, April 16.
