Men's Tennis remains undefeated in MIAA

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team remained undefeated in MIAA play with a 9-0 win over Calvin at Stowe Stadium on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo won all three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Allen Vinson and Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado won 8-4 at three doubles before Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won 8-4 at one. Robert Hudson and Eric De Witt pulled out an 8-6 win at two doubles.

De Witt was first off the court at four singles (6-0, 6-0) while Metzler clinched the team win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at one singles.

Dantus (3), Spencer Navarre (6), Vinson (5) and Hudson (2) followed with straight-set wins.

Kalamazoo (13-4, 5-0 MIAA) hosts NAIA foe Aquinas College on Friday at 6 p.m.
