KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 5-4 win over Coe College inside the Markin Center on Saturday.
Kalamazoo on two of the three doubles matches before winning three singles matches to win the match.
Peter Fitzgerald/Ian Yi won 8-7(5) at one doubles, while Casey Johnson/Gabe Vidinas won 8-6 at two.
Vidinas won 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 at three singles. Fitzgerald won 6-1, 6-4 at four singles. Adnan Alousi clinched the match for the Hornets with a 6-1, 6-4 win at five singles.
The men's tennis is team is scheduled to compete at Oberlin next Saturday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m.
