Kalamazoo College's Gabe Vidinas was named MIAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday.
A junior from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Groves HS), Vidinas finished the week 3-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles. He had singles wins over Albion, Hope and Olivet, and a doubles win over Olivet. His play this week helped clinch the 2002 MIAA team championship.
On the season, Vidinas is 11-8 overall in singles and undefeated in singles in MIAA play.
Kalamazoo returns to action Sunday, May 1 at home against UW-Whitewater.
