KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Calvin 5-2 in an MIAA Tournament semifinal match on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead. Calvin won at six singles to make it a 2-2 match before Kalamazoo won the next three singles matches to win the match.

Ian Yi/Peter Fitzgerald won 8-0 at one doubles. Adnan Alousi/Casey Johnson won 8-0 at two doubles.

Yi (1), Fitzgerald (3) and Alousi (5) each won 6-0, 6-0.

Kalamazoo hosts Hope in the MIAA Tournament championship match on Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. Hope defeated Trine 5-0 in the other semifinal on Wednesday.
