KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Anderson University (Ind.) 7-2 inside the Markin Center on Saturday. The win was Kalamazoo's first of the season (1-2) and the first loss of the season for the Ravens (4-1).
Anderson won two of the three doubles matches including an 8-7(5) win at three. Gabe Vidinas and Adnan Alousi won 8-4 at one.
Kalamazoo proceeded to win all six singles matches in straight sets to win the match.
Vidinas won 6-2, 6-0 at one singles. Alousi won 6-0, 6-0 at two. Alex Fleming won 6-2, 7-5 at three. Seth Keana won 6-0, 6-1 at four. Lucas Preston won 6-4, 6-0 at five. Alek Hultberg won 6-1, 6-1 at six.
Kalamazoo is back in action at home Sunday afternoon when the Hornets take on Augustana College (Ill.) at 2 p.m.
