KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team was defeated 8-1 by Augustana College (Ill.) inside the Markin Center on Sunday. Kalamazoo falls to 1-3 on the season, while Augustana improved to 6-2.
The visiting Vikings swept the three doubles matches before winning five singles matches to win the match.
Adnan Alousi won 6-4, 6-4 at two singles for the Hornets' only win on Sunday.
Gabe Vidinas was defeated in three sets at one singles, 4-6, 6-3, 3-6. Alex Fleming also lost in three sets at three singles, 3-6, 6-2, 2-6.
Kalamazoo is off until March 2 when the Hornets host Denison at noon.
