KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost its regular season finale 7-2 to No. 16 Wisconsin-Whitewater inside the Markin Center on Sunday.
The visiting Warhawks won the three doubles matches before winning four of the six singles matches.
Gabe Vidinas/Alex Fleming were defeated 8-5 by the 25th-ranked doubles team of Luke VanDonslear/Reuben Giorgio.
Vidinas defeated VanDonslear, ranked 19th in the region, 6-3, 6-2 at one singles.
Adnan Alousi won 6-0, 6-4 at two singles.
Seth Keana was narrowly defeated 6-3, 7-5 in a close match at six singles.
Kalamazoo hosts Hope next in an MIAA Tournament semifinal match on Wednesday, May 1, at 4 p.m. The tournament winner earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships.
