Men's Cross Country Ninth at Knight-Raider Invite

Kalamazoo College cross country teams at the Knight-Raider Invite.

Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team competed Saturday at the Knight-Raider Invitational at Calvin College's Gainey Athletic Complex. Despite a challenging week of training and being without top-three runner Keegan Reynolds, the team still had a solid day.

The Hornets were led by first-year Garrick Hohm with a time of 28:52. Fellow first-year Charlie Bossert stepped up big to fill the void of Reynolds and freshman Pedro Boza Torres had a breakthrough performance by clipping almost two minutes off his debut time a week ago.

Sophomores Patrick Dunfee, Zach Ufkes and Levi Thomas finished out the scoring with season-best performances.

The Hornets are back in action October 2 at the Pre-National meet in Louisville, Ky.
