KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team competed at the WMU Jack Shaw Invite at Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon (Apr. 10).
Starting with the 800m run, Keegan Reynolds (2:08.46) and Caleb Ewald (2:10.40) finished eighth and 10th in the event. Patrick Dunfee also ran and finished 12th at 2:18.41.
Moving to the 1500m run, the duo of Will Thomas (4:10.89) and Noah Eckenroth (4:15.17) came in 13th and 16th. Kyle Ackerson (26th) also participated. That trio also ran in the 5000m run, with Thomas finishing in seventh (16:10.32), Eckenroth coming in 12th (16:24.80), and Ackerson having a 21st-place finish (18:03.76).
Ilem Leisher in the 200m dash and the 400m hurdles, finishing in 25th in the 200m (24.85) and eighth in the 400m hurdles (1:01.15). The team of Ewald, Reynolds, Leisher, and Thomas ran a 3:49.69 in the 4x400m relay.
Kalamazoo will be back in action at the GVSU Al Owens Classic in Allendale, Mich., on Saturday (Apr. 22).
