Also running for the Hornets were Keegan Reynolds (31:12), Bryce Soisson (31:33), and Caleb Ewald (31:38).

"The men's team let their racing do the talking today," said head coach Kyle Morrison. "Times were out the window with warm temperatures, but we took fifth overall and met the goal of being atop the MIAA schools competing. There's so much in store for these guys down the stretch. We had a couple of very strong races from Rob and Patrick."

Kalamazoo will head to Grand Rapids to compete in the Calvin Knight Invite on Friday (Sept. 29).
