Softball Drops Pair of Games at Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College softball team lost a pair of games at Calvin University on Wednesday, 11-0 and 10-0.

Game One

Calvin scored eight runs in the second inning and three in the third en route to the 11-0 win in game one. 

Lizzy Rottenberk led off the game with a single. Sam Moss also had a single in the game.

Calvin finished with 10 hits in the contest.

Game Two

Calvin led 1-0 after two innings before scoring five in the third and four in the fourth.

The Knights had 14 hits in the game and were aided by four Hornet errors. Kalamazoo did not record a hit in the game. Moss was hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the fourth.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Trine in the MIAA season finale on Friday, May 5, beginning at 3 p.m.
