The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 70-42 at Franklin College on Saturday.
Franklin led by just one point (29-28) at halftime, but outscored the Hornets 41-14 in the second half.
Franklin shot 40.8 percent overall while limiting Kalamazoo to 30.2 percent. The Grizzlies sank 28-of-35 free throws compared to 11-of-19 for the Hornets. Franklin also held a 40-26 advantage in rebounds.
Nicole Antoine and Emily Lindsay led the Hornets with nine points each. Antoine also had a team-high four rebounds with two blocks.
Anne Colonius added five points while Katherine Johnston and Querubin Dubois each finished with four points.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Hope on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
