GAINSVILLE, Ga. – The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team won its third consecutive game Saturday, Dec. 14, with a 71-61 over National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) foe Brenau University.

Junior guard Emily Lindsay led all players with 19 points. The Davidson native shot 8-13 from the field including 2-6 from three point range.

"Emily [Lindsay] came up huge for us knocking down clutch shots," Kalamazoo Head Coach Katie Miller said. "She is a great leader on the floor."

A native of nearby Lithonia, Ga., senior forward Nicole Antione finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Fellow senior India Hoskins was the other Hornet to finish in double figures with 11 points.

"Nicole [Antione] got the chance to play in front of her family and friends," Miller said. "She made big plays for us in key moments."

As a team, Kalamazoo shot a .533 (24-56) clip from the field. K dished out 11 assists as a team compared to 19 turnovers.

Kalamazoo held Brenau to just 35 percent shooting from the field. The Hornets also held a 40-27 advantage in rebounding.
