Women's Basketball Falls to Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team dropped its game against No. 5 Hope on Saturday afternoon by a score of 96-30. 

After leading by just one (12-11) with 3:14 left in the first quarter, Hope took control and never looked back. The Dutch connected on 45.1 percent of their shots compared to just 17.2 percent for the Hornets. 

The Hornet defense forced 18 Hope turnovers and connected on 12 points off the turnovers. 

Amanda Moss and Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo in scoring with 14 points each. 

Sierra Fraser collected a game-high eight rebounds. 

The Hornets continue MIAA play on Wednesday, Jan. 9 when they travel to Saint Mary's for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
