NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team fell to Saint Mary's 70-48 on Wednesday night.
The Hornets shot the ball well in the first half by connecting on eight of 15 three-point attempts and took a 34-33 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, however, Kalamazoo was five for 30 from the field. The 14 points scored by the Hornets were overmatched by Saint Mary's 37 in the half.
Kalamazoo finished the game with a 28.1 percent (18-64) field goal percentage and made nine of 23 attempts from behind the arc.
Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo in scoring with 18 points. Darby Scott added nine points on three made three-pointers.
Georgie Andrews tied for a game-high nine rebounds.
Kalamazoo will continue MIAA play on Saturday, Jan. 12 as it returns home to face Olivet at 3 p.m.
