KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Tuesday morning that Kaytlyn Tidey of the women's basketball team was named Hornet of the Week.
Tidey averaged 18.5 points per game in Kalamazoo's two games last week while connecting on seven of 16 three-point attempts. In her last four games, Tidey has averaged 17.8 points and has made 16 3's.
Tidey is now averaging 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.4 steals this season.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 8 against Hope College at 7:30 p.m.
