Women's Basketball Beaten by No. 3 Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team fell Wednesday evening to No. 3 Hope College by a final score of 77-37. 

The Flying Dutch converted on their first shot attempt of the game and held the lead for the entirety of the 40 minutes played. 

Kalamazoo shot 36.8 percent (14-38) compared to Hope's 39.5 percent (30-76). The teams combined to convert just five of 40 three-pointers. 

The Hornets forced 21 Hope turnovers. 

Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo with 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists. 

Isabelle Clark added nine points while Darby Scott tallied four. 

The Hornets return to play on Saturday, Jan. 11 at home against Adrian College at 3 p.m.
