The three seniors on the Kalamazoo College women's basketball team had the opportunity to recognize their Most Valuable Professors prior to their game on Saturday afternoon at Anderson Athletic Center.

The Hornets selected Dr. Christine Hahn (History), Dr. Katerina Stefatos (Political Science), and Dr. Dwight Williams (Chemistry) as their MVPs.

Georgie Andrews selected Dr. Katerina Stefatos because she is grateful for Dr. Stefatos' assistance in helping her understand a subject she knew nothing about. She appreciates her patience and understanding as well as her support.

Dr. Christine Hahn was chosen by Sierra Fraser. Sierra had no plans to major in art history until she took her first class with Dr. Hahn. She appreciates that Dr. Hahn made the class fun and interesting. Sierra is also grateful for Dr. Hahn's guidance with her Senior Individualized Project.

The final MVP is Dr. Dwight Williams and was picked by Mya Gough. Mya appreciates Dr. Williams for all the opportunities he has offered her in the direction of her future such as working in his lab for the last two years. She values the investment that he has made in her academic growth and in helping her expand her knowledge.

All Kalamazoo College senior student-athletes will recognize their Most Valuable Professors throughout the 2019-20 season.
