ANDERSON, Ind. – The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team dropped a 76-52 decision to the host Anderson University Ravens Wednesday night.

Anderson finished the first quarter in possession of a 20-10 lead, but Kaytlyn Tidey's six second-quarter points helped the Hornets outscore the Ravens 21-20 and take a manageable nine-point deficit into halftime.

Anderson seized control of the game by outscoring K 23-10 in the third quarter and the Hornets were unable to seriously threaten the Ravens in the fourth.

Laila Vincent paced the Hornets (2-5) with 19 points and added four rebounds and a pair of blocks. Tidey filled the stat sheet with 13 points, six rebounds and two steals, and Kaelyn Arlington secured 10 rebounds to go along with four points, an assist and a block.

Next up for the Hornets is a Saturday road trip to Holland to take on Hope. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
