Women's Basketball Seniors Honor Most Valuable Professors

Women's Basketball seniors honoring Most Valuable Professors.

Seniors on the Kalamazoo College women's basketball team recognized their Most Valuable Professors prior to the home game on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

Senior Darby Scott selected Professor Lars Enden from the Philosophy Department as her MVP. Darby never pictured herself as someone who would like philosophy, but Professor Enden proved her wrong; as she eventually chose it as her minor. She is grateful to Professor Enden for helping her grow as a student and as a person. She appreciates him challenging her to be the best version of herself both inside and outside the classroom.

The next MVP is Professor Mark McDonald from the English Department, selected by senior Kaytlyn Tidey. Kaytlyn appreciates Professor McDonald's support in and outside of the classroom. She enjoyed the fun atmosphere in his classes, despite learning about difficult topics. Kaytlyn is grateful for his continued efforts in supporting her even though they are no longer in the classroom together.

On behalf of the athletic department, THANK YOU to these Most Valuable Professors for being such positive influences for our student-athletes. Your work is greatly appreciated!

Kalamazoo College senior athletes have the opportunity to recognize their Most Valuable Professors throughout the 2021-22 season.
