Kelsea Howell '08 joined the Kalamazoo College coaching staff in the fall of 2022.
Playing for the Kalamazoo women's basketball team from 2004-08, coach Howell played in 99 games with 74 starts in her career. Her best season came during her junior year when she averaged 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. Coach Howell finished her career with 1,009 points, 396 rebounds, and 98 assists, becoming the 11th student-athlete to surpass 1,000 career points. She was a two-time All-MIAA Second Team selection and was an Honorable Mention another time.
