Emily Lindsay joined the Kalamazoo College coaching staff in August of 2021.
Coach Lindsay came to Kalamazoo College after serving as an assistant coach for the Vicksburg High School girl's basketball team from 2017-20. In addition to the coaching duties, Lindsay also works for a local private practice as she serves as a mental health therapist specializing in sports psychology.
Coach Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge to the coaching staff after playing at Kalamazoo from 2011-15. During that time, Lindsay was a two-time captain, became the career three-point basket record holder (203), the 11th member of the 1,000-point club (1,006), and was an All-MIAA Second Team member for the 2014-15 season. Along with playing four years with the Hornets, Lindsay also joined Team USA to play overseas in Italy during her junior season. She was also a two-time MIAA Player of the Week and MIAA Academic Honor Roll Member. Lindsay was also active across campus as she was selected as the Athletic Leadership Council President for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) during her junior and senior seasons. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in France at Strasbourg University while at Kalamazoo.
Coach Lindsay graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2015 with bachelor's degrees in psychology and anthropology/sociology. She then continued her education at Western Michigan University and graduated in 2017 with master's degrees in counseling psychology and counselor education. Coach Lindsay currently resides in Portage, Michigan.
