MARSHALL, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's golf team kicked off the 2016 season Friday afternoon as the team competed at the Kyle Campbell Classic at The Medalist Golf Club.
Claire Kalina led the Hornets on the afternoon with a round of 95. Cydney Martell was just behind the pace of Kalina as she ended the day with a 101.
Lexi Ugelow and Katherine Stewart rounded out the top four with rounds of 111 and 125, respectively.
Weather permitting, day two of the Kyle Campbell Classic is scheduled to begin Saturday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
