Women's Golfers Earn all-American Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - All five members of the 2020-21 Kalamazoo College women's golf team were honored as All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday.

Erin Perkins, Sydney Pickell, Darby Scott, Kate Stover, and Ella Szczublewski were recognized by achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 as members of the Kalamazoo College women's golf team. The five Hornets were among the 1,432 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.

The Kalamazoo College women's golf team finished sixth in the MIAA this spring, the team's best finish since 2008.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 650 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
