BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's golf team finished second at the second round of the MIAA Fall Finale on Saturday at Bedford Valley. The Hornets broke the school record for the second day in a row with a team score of 316, 18 strokes better than Friday's record-setting total.
Darby Scott was medalist on Saturday with a 73. She also earned All-MIAA First Team honors and was just two strokes short of player of the year honors.
Marissa Kovac shot a season-best 79 on Saturday. Ella Szczublewski came in at 81 while Sydney Pickell shot 83.
The Hornets are back in action Oct. 14 at the Cleary Invitational.
