Kalamazoo College's Anika Sproull was selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Atheltic Association's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
A freshman from Dexter, Mich. (Ann Arbor Rudolf Steiner School), Sproull scored 16 goals in three games for the week as the Hornets posted a 2-1 record. She scored six goals in a 13-9 nonconference victory over Defiance, Ohio, and had five goals and caused two turnovers in a 19-8 MIAA win over Trine. She also scored five goals in a 10-9 MIAA loss to Hope.
Sproull is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
