OLIVET, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost 13-10 to Olivet on Saturday night. This moves the women's record to 4-7 overall, and 2-3 in MIAA play.
The Hornets were outscored 11-7 in the first half, but at one point led the Comets 7-5. The Hornets outscored Olivet 3-2 in the second half but it wasn't enough to overcome the first half deficit.
Nicole Huff led the Hornets in scoring with three goals. Anna Dairaghi and Anika Sproull each had two goals. The other three goals came from Vethania Stravopoulos, Cecilia DiFranco, and Alivia DuQuet.
Katie Johnson had eight saves and the Hornets led the Comets in ground balls 17-16
Kalamazoo's next game is at Calvin Tuesday, Apr. 21.
