KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team fell to Illinois Wesleyan 18-4 on Saturday afternoon.
The Hornets got out to a 3-2 lead on the Titans with just over 17 minutes left in the first half. Illinois Wesleyan ended the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 10-3 lead into halftime.
The Titans outscored the Hornets 8-1 in the second half to secure an 18-4 victory.
Rose Bogard led Kalamazoo with two goals. Rachel Madar and Amanda Moss each added one.
Kalamazoo was outshot 25-16 on the afternoon. The Hornets, however, had a 16-8 edge in draw controls.
Kalamazoo will return to play on Tuesday, March 26 against Chapman at 7 p.m.
