KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Rose Bogard of the Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Bogard, a junior midfielder from Ann Arbor, Mich., made a strong offensive contribution in Kalamazoo's 13-9 win over Albion on Wednesday, March 3. She led the Hornets with a career-high four goals on just five shot attempts. Bogard also tallied six ground balls, caused two Albion turnovers and had one assist.
Bogard now has five goals and leads the Hornets with six assists through three games this season. She also has collected a team-high nine ground balls and has caused three opponent turnovers.
The Hornets look to improve upon their 3-0 start to the season on Tuesday at Saint Mary's. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
