KALAMAZOO, Mich. - After being named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Rose Bogard's career performance on the field last week has earned her SAAC Hornet of the Week honors as well.
Bogard led the Hornets in goals during Wednesday's 13-9 win over Albion, scoring four on just five shots attempted. Her strong showing earned the junior a new career-high. She also tallied six ground balls and caused two turnovers from the Britons.
Bogard has five goals on top of a team-high six assists and nine ground balls through the first three games of the season. This is her first time being named Hornet of the Week and the third straight week that the women's lacrosse team has claimed the honor.
Kalamazoo returns to action tonight (March 9) at Saint Mary's. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
