Women's Lacrosse Wins at Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team won 20-9 at Hope on Saturday.

Kalamazoo trailed 2-0 to start the game and 5-4 in the first before scoring seven straight goals to take an 11-5 lead into halftime. 

Kalamazoo led by just three, 12-9, before scoring the last eight goals leading to the 20-9 win.

Kalamazoo outshot Hope 37-21.

Rose Bogard led the Hornets with eight goals.

Rachel Madar scored six goals with 12 draw controls and five caused turnovers.

Hannah Heeren scored three goals with one assist. Leah Tardiff scored two goals with two assists.

Hannah Wolfe led the Hornets with six ground balls.

Gwen Davis made four saves in goal.

Kalamazoo awaits pairings for the MIAA Tournament scheduled to begin next Saturday, April 24.
