Rose Bogard was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
A senior from Ann Arbor, Mich. (Community HS), Bogard led the Hornets to an 11-10 win over Ohio Northern University in the season opener on Sunday.
Offensively, Bogard scored five goals and had an assist. She also won key possessions, leading the team with six draw controls and six ground balls. Defensively, she led the team with three caused turnovers.
The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team is scheduled to play again Thursday, Feb. 24 against Cleary at 2 p.m. at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
