Women's Lacrosse Seniors Honor Most Valuable Professors

Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse seniors standing with their most valuable professors.

Seniors on the 2022 Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team recognized their Most Valuable Professors prior to a home game on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Senior Alli Klinger selected Dr. Amy Smith from the English Department to recognize as her MVP. Dr. Smith has had an immense impact on Allison's learning experience. Serving as her academic advisor, she guided Allison throughout her four years with support and understanding. Allison is grateful for Dr. Smith's genuine care and passion for her students.

Professor Sarah Lindley from the Art Department was selected by senior Rose Bogard. Rose appreciates Professor Lindley for encouraging her love for ceramics and helping her grow as an artist. She is grateful for the many skills that she has learned from Professor Lindley that she will carry with her after her chapter at K is completed.

Senior Mackenzie Maiorano selected Professor Amy MacMillan from the Business Department as her MVP. Mackenzie is grateful that Professor MacMillan has opened her eyes and brought excitement to a possible career path for her. She appreciates that her classes are always fun and related to the real world. She is confident she will use all of her teachings in her future career.

Dr. Jennifer Furchak from the Chemistry Department was selected by senior Lily Rogowski. Unfortunately, Dr. Furchak had a prior commitment and was unable to be recognized in person. Lily appreciates Dr. Furchak for her continuous support and guidance both in and out of the classroom. She is grateful for the positive and collaborative learning environment which helped Lily to succeed.

On behalf of the athletic department, THANK YOU to these Most Valuable Professors for being such positive influences for our student-athletes. Your work is greatly appreciated!
